Grippy, tannin-led Margaret River Cabernet at a fair price. Drying and a little lean, but has classic perfume and a rather long palate. A little Merlot might have helped this fill out through the middle, but the finished product is drinkable enough. Best drinking: now to eight years. 17.5/20, 91/100. 14%, $23. Would I buy it? A glass or so.
