Champagne Jacquart Mosaique Brut NV

Review: Champagne Jacquart Mosaique Brut NV

I spotted this out there in retail land for $59.99 this week. Man, that’s an excellent price for a solid, well-made Champagne. Chardonnay is dominant and has a coppery, yeasty golden edge over a pretty expressive palate. 20% reserve wine adds lovely shades to this reasonably complex NV style, and I can’t fault the richness and freshness (of this bottle, no disgorgement date). Good drinking.

    1. Wowsers. A ridiculous bargain at that price.

  1. I’m having a glass now and very much enjoying it, a bit more full flavoured and robust than what I was expecting for some reason, gives me Laurent Perrier La Cuvee vibes, bargain at $50 from WineStar.
Might have the order from them, $70 for André Clouet Grande Reserve Brut!
    Buy Buy Buy!

  2. The Clouet is good, but for $70 Veuve Fourny Blanc de Blancs is better

    1. That is very good value, one of the few Blanc De Blanc’s I like, which I tend to avoid mostly as a style.
As you may tell by the Clouet I like a lot of Pinot in my bubbles!
