Howard Park Museum Release Riesling 2013

Review: Howard Park Museum Release Riesling 2013

Loved the 2014 version of this wine, but the Howard Park Museum Release Riesling 2013? Meh.

Still green straw, this looks much more advanced than the 14, the lanolin toast the first flavour rather than citrus. A nice honeyed mouthful it is too, but the energy has waned a little, leaving just acidity at the core and pulls up a little short. Has presence but no superstar.

Howard Park Museum Release Riesling 2013. Best drinking: now. 17.5/20, 91/100. 12%, $41. Howard Park website. Would I. buy it? The ’14 thanks.
