On the back of my chat with Rob Diletti, here is evidence of his mastery. On another note, isn’t it amazing that you can get deliciousness like this for $21 a bottle? Riesling delivers ridiculous value drinking, and this Castle Rock Estate Skywalk Riesling 2021 is proof.

Compared to the ‘standard’ Riesling this is a little more generous (with more pressings used) but still has that crystalline freshness. I expected more phenolic grip from extra skin contact, but didn’t see it. Grapefruit, lemon white pepper and crystalline freshness, there’s this juiciness you don’t see in its older brother, if not the same piercing nature.

What a cracking summer drink.
