Classic lines in this Dalwood Estate Semillon 2021. A little lemongrass and straw, the palate is grassy lemon, somewhat subdued and tight, just lemons to finish. Not harsh, but it’s not offering much yet and phenolic to finish. Lots of promise though. Hunter Valley Semillon for the future. Best drinking: later. Come back in five years. 17.5/20, 91/100. 11.5%, $27. Dalwood Estate website. Would I buy it? A glass.
